I just wanna rant out something from this whole week … More like the built up frustration lead up to this problem that I’ve been encountering all week. 
We all know it’s February and soon enough, it’ll be June. So a lot of people are questioning the future of the band. Quite honestly, I don’t even know how it will  be … I know for sure that we will continue how strong we are right now. But a lot of people are absolutely questioning the future positions of the board … Including Drum Major.

A majority of the band already know I’m going to be president. And if I’m not … Oh well ? LOL Let’s see who actually does work … VP is questionable. And the rest of the little positions are completely up to the band itself for who to elect. But otherwise, the main question is: Who will be Drum Major next year ?

A lot of people think that it will remain the same as this year because it IS her Senior Year and she should have the rights though, right? What if the problem is that there’s a mass of people who would rather not have her? That’s a tough decision that I’m facing through, even if it’s not my decision, it does affect me and the future of the band. I would say we would need an election for DM IF and only IF people were to run for it …
My only problem with our current DM is that you can’t be too self-absorbed nor can you just try to live up to an old legacy. You have to be your own. But while you’re doing that, NO ONE in this band should receive completely disrespect from you because you have a higher power. It doesn’t matter if you say “no offense” or “just kidding” or “I love you” or anything, it will HURT many people. No matter how many times you apologize. You need to basically learn how to work together with other people. You need to give your own time and DO IT. (Since my problem is that many people say they will and I end up doing it before it’s too late …) The other thing is with the rude thing. It was one thing to criticize us. We’ll take light criticism. But if you’re going to be straight up rude with people, then I don’t think many people will love you as a DM. Screaming “THAT SUCKED” in private is one thing; saying it in PUBLIC ? That’s a completely different story. It showed us as weak and you as someone who’s utterly disrespectful to the whole group. Another is simply by yelling at someone and giving an evil glare. We’re trying to help you; not go against you. Take our help and we will go far. Don’t take it and it may lead us to trouble. I can yell at people and evil glare but at least I don’t do it AS hard as her. I still redeem myself in most cases. I do get stressed out, yes, everyone knows that. But if you have to yell at someone like that in front of everyone and in a performance, that just shows weakness in us. 

So I honestly do not think she will be DM next year … At this rate, it’s falling. Not everyone loves you. Face reality. Not everyone loves me either. I KNOW I am rude sometimes, I yell a lot, I’m not the happiest person. I get work done though and I’m still kind enough to EVERYONE whether they think I’m stupid or not. There’s differences … What I do is completely different from you. Don’t try it.
